Girls Cricket (For Girls Aged 6-16 Years)
Cricket is a sport that has long been dominated by men and boys. In 2019, The Kuraby Knights Cricket Club started a women's cricket program for girls interested in learning the game.
The first program had only 6 participants but due to its success, it now has close to 30 registered participants (and growing). Participants learn about the game of cricket which includes how to play as well as life skills like teamwork and leadership development.
If you're interested in enrolling your daughter in the program, visit the Programs & Registration page for more information.
The Kuraby Knights Cricket Club girls program now has 3 teams, 2 foundation teams and 1 intermediate team. The teams are competing in different tournaments and the girls are improving their skills every day. The coaches are very proud of the girls and they are sure that they will achieve great things in the future.
To date, the Kuraby Knights Cricket Club girls program has had 6 girls play in the SEQ Under 13 girls Melissa Bullow cup district tournament.
